The project started in 2012 on behalf of the public-private association “Viva o Centro” and was completed in 2018 and presented to the Mayor of San Paolo as part of the recovery plan for the city center.
The masterplan edited by Studio Lauria concerns the so-called “historical triangle”, very close to the foundation area of the Brazilian metropolis, proposing an urban restoration intervention.
The project includes the design of four squares and a new set-up of public spaces with new urban furniture among which some wooden seats made by the well-known artist Hugo França.
