The San Donato neighborhood, designed by Leon Krier in the area previously occupied by a Fiat industrial plant, was built in a few years in the north-western suburbs of Florence. Studio Lauria was contracted to give a contemporary look to the new urban spaces and to design a set of urban furniture as well as to define the visual communication of public areas.
Also due to the economic crisis of those years, only part of the furniture was provided. Anyway the project was presented in Vienna in an exhibition dedicated to public space and managed by the Wonderland collective.
