Daniele Lauria was commissioned by the European Investment Bank (EIB, the financial “arm” of the European Union) to draft the Museums Master Plan of Shkoder, a city in northern Albania. After a phase of study and analysis, the plan focused on defining cultural marketing strategies and a new “master plan” for culture with the restoration and redevelopment of existing museums and new locations.
The characterizing element is the creation of the Museums Quarter (MQ) following the example of some important projects such as the one in Vienna. The plan is expected to be approved by the first half of 2025.
