In being far from everything, the capital of Chile seems to have been lost herself. But the “plazas de bolsillo” represent an oasis of greenery and sociability. One of this “new” public spaces is just in front of the Palacio de la Moneda where its basement houses the spaces of the CCPLM, a cultural center, and the facade still bears signs of the bullets fired during the coup of 11 September 1973.
